Each Smart bin are fitted with Fill level monitoring system, when Smart bin reaches 80% of its volume it automatically sends the SMS to truck driver and to the control administrator. The integrated software and Voice telemetry system guides the truck driver to the designated location. The information technologies used in these bins are falling under Smart City concept, where the Smart bins are handled by newer concept of Fill level monitoring and Telemetry System. This technology heaps with the advantages of monthly collection expenditure of cost saving up to 35%
